Summer has come and Gone

Summer has come and gone... We have had lots of fun enjoying the out doors and our funny children. We went camping several times and made lots of great memories. We went fishing played softball, and hide'n'seek in the mountains we also had our four wheelers and we enjoyed them until the forest ranger pulled us over and threatened us with a $5000 fine for not having them registered in Utah and lack of protective gear. It made for good laughs later.

These are the cute camping blankets my aunt made after our first camping trip this year. Linzi was trying to wrap herself up in the door mat for the tent, it was so funny to watch but my Aunt insisted on making the kids camping blankets. Thanks aunty...

Linzi turned two! She loves monkeys, and she is kind of one herself...

Morgan has become trouble!!! He broke the child lock on this cabinet and dumped out all the oil, he has also dumped out the dish soap. He also likes to climb on everything he is fearless.

Jamison's first day of school! He loves going to school. I don't really enjoy waking up at 6 in the morning, but I am getting better.

It has been fun and I will miss this time with them, they make me laugh they make me cry, but good times or bad I still love them..

Summer time

We went for a sunday drive to look at these. It was fun family time we tried to make up stories to go with the pictures.

A day at the Park!

I am so glad for summertime! No I don't like the 120's but it hasn't gotten that high yet. We have been able to enjoy the outdoors a little this year, mostly because I am not pregant so I can actually go outside and not feel like I'm melting. Here are a few pics.

Scotts near death experince

So this weekend was kind of crazy. It started Thursday night after we went out dinner, Scott started having pain in his side at first I thought it was gas and he went home and went to bed. When he was still sick in the morning I thought maybe it was the food, he did have fish, maybe it was bad. By Friday afternoon Scott couldn't even stand up straight so I took him to Urgent Care. They said it was his apendix and that we needed to go to the hospital. So Scott and I arived at the hospital at4:30 and got an alcove in the ER at about 6:00 they started running tests and did a CT scan and By 10:00 they had determinded that he had apendicits. At about 2:00am they finally put us into a quiet room upsatirs and the nurse told us they wern't going to do surgery until morning and that we should get some rest. Which sounded like a great idea to me seeing how it was now 2:30 in the morining and I hadn't even closed my eyes. So as soon as the nurse left I passed out as best as I could in the chair, that didn't make into a bed. So we were both out and the lights came on three nurses come in and start rushing around and said it was time for surgery, I looked at the clock and it was only 3:15 I thought I was going to get some rest... So we then rushed down to the OR and Scott got preped for surgery. they took him into surgery at 4:00 and was out by 5:00, he had to stay in recovery until 6:30, and they won't let me back there. So at 6:30 we went back up to our room and slept good until 8am when Scott started throwing up. I felt to bad fro the poor guy. The dumb nurse gave him some Orange juice which only made things worse. To make matters worse when I called home to tell mom how things were going so told me that morgan had the stomache flu. Poor baby. Scott was in and out of it all morning, and so was I, only I didn't get any good drugs or bed or chair, poor me.LOL! Around luch time I was able to find some crackers for Scott and he stopped throwing up after he got something on his stomache. We decided that we were going to leave at about 5 and we had to wait until shift change at 7 because our nurse was super lazy. I am still kind of upset about it if you can't tell. The other thing that makes me mad is that we were at the hospital for over 24 hours and they never once offered scott any food. Some broth or jello or something would have made all the difference. So we got home late on Saterday night because we had to get perscriptions and groceries. Sundya we sent the kids to church with grandma minuse the baby because he was still sick. We all slept during those 3 prescious hours. When everyone returned we were happy to all be together again until about 4 when everyone started throwing up. Linzi had the flu and Jamison had the flu and yes Morgan was sdtill throwing up. So today is now Tuesday I thing I have had little sleep and I have showered since WSunday I smell like throw up. My carpets all need to be cleaned, the one good thing is that I was able to keep up on laundry thanks to my Super washer and dryer. I feel like all my posts are about everyone being sick, maybe I need something more interesting to talk about.

Messy Messy Messy

I have been told that I don't post enough on my blog, but I don't even get to shower by myself most of the time, little lone play on the computer. I have been busy with my darling children. Last week Jamison cam in my room to tell me that Morgan was supper stinky, I said that happens he doesn't seem that bothered by it, I will get him out of bed in a few minutes. Well a few minutes went by and I went to get him out of his bed and Morgan was covered from head to toe in poop. It was great fun! He was enjoying it. All over his blankets his Binky, the walls and anywhere else he could get it. He had woke up at 5am and I gave him a bottle and put him back to bed. He was wearing a onesie, but some how managed to get that and his diaper off. It amazed me that such a small person could make such a mess. Well just the next night Linzi was in her bed and started crying, so I went to check on her and discovered that sometime during the 3 hours she had been in bed she had puked every where. It made for more clean up and laundry. The poor girl had some sort of stomach flu all day long, she would just give me this look and I knew she was going to blow again. By the next evening she started to feel better. I love having children they make me look back on these great experiences and laugh.

Mothers Day

I enjoyed my mothers day weekend this year. Scott has been working 6 days a week and was able to take this weekend off to be with the family. On Friday we had to go to town and get groceries and we had a lot, with the price of gas I hadn't been shopping in a month. When we got home we went to Jamisons t-ball game. Our little team only had 3 players so it was fun watching the little kids with big helmats try to run around the bases. On Saturday Scott and I cleaned out our store room, and organized the food storage. I also had to prepare a lesson for relief society. Saturday night we went out in the mountains and had a bbq. It was just our family and the kids loved it. I was bumed because I was so worried about getting everything ready I forgot my camera. We all climed the rocks and had a great time just being together. It made me remember to enjoy and take time with my children. On Sunday I was slightly stressed out about my lesson so I didn't have time to enjoy breakfast. After church the kids and I made cookies and took naps. We went to grandmas to have dinner and talk to Jeff. He is doing well but is way to excited about coming home, only about 6 weeks left. WOW! I had a great day full of love and gratitude for my children.

Just another week

Well we have just survived another round of ear infections here at our house. I just hate having sick babies.Linzi started running a fever on Monday and I thought maybe she was getting some molers or something but she just got worse and worse. I took her to the doctor on Wednessday, and she does have another ear infection and sore throat. So we started her on an antibiotic they said was like a zpack for kids. Thursday night she started to break out in fever blisters all over her face and in her mouth, and know she has thrush from the antibiotic. Needless to say she has not been very happy, so neither has anyone else. Morgan started getting a fever on Sunday but he just had another tooth pop out so hopefully he is just teething.
On a happier Notr it is Birthday week at our house. Scott turned 28, Jamison will be 5 on Friday and Jeff will be 21 on Saturday. Wow!! Scott got new church shoes, he has had his old ones since before we got married. He also got a new sattilite radio for his long commute. Jamison will be getting a basket ball hoop. I hope he likes it. Jeff will be enjoying some new ties I am sure he will be excited, but what do you get him??? He got some pictures of the family too.
I just had to teach another lesson in releif society. It was about baptism, I know that I get way more out of the lessons then those that I am teaching. I am so glad for the spirit when I am teaching because some times I don't even know what I am saying or what I am going to say next and it always comes together. I always get lots of comments and compliments on my lessons, but I know that they are being taught by the spirit I am just there.
